Resources & Map

Track materials, source areas, station chains, and travel habits

Use this guide as a practical material route map: what each resource is for, where it tends to enter progression, which station uses it, and what to carry before leaving the Hearth.

Early Material Priorities

Spirit Dust

Spirit Dust feeds familiar tools, incense, Witchcraft Circle progress, and several magical recipes. Keep a stack at home instead of spending it all immediately.

Copper Ore

Copper Ore starts the metal route. Once Furnace access is ready, copper becomes the bridge from basic gathering to stronger tools and better station progress.

Cinder Bloom

Cinder Bloom is tied to the crater and Furnace route in current guide notes. Treat it as a high-value plant whenever you are pushing toward smelting.

Station Chains

Furnace chain

Furnace work turns ore into progress and supports ingredient chains like wood to charcoal and sand to glass. Assign a fitting familiar when the station allows it.

Spinner chain

Cotton, Thread, and Cloth are easy to underestimate until a bed or comfort item blocks you. If Spinner asks for a familiar, go hunting before grinding more cotton.

Witchcraft Circle chain

Simple Ritual Candle, Shimmering Ink, Azure Feather, and Homebound Ritual Scroll all connect here. This is the station that makes long exploration routes much safer.

Places Worth Remembering

Mirella

Mirella is important for early shopping, seeds, and Homebound Scroll access. When you find her, memorize the route and keep coin reserves.

Alder tree areas

Magical Alder tree areas connect to Shimmerdust, Shimmering Ink, flight-related discussion, and later exploration planning.

Chirli or Cherilli Crater

The crater route is tied to Cinder Bloom, ore progress, and tougher resource pushes. Bring healing, a scroll, and a familiar that can survive mistakes.

Timberline Basin and Trampling Grounds

Current familiar-station notes point to these regions for spirits used by stations like Sawmill, Spinner, and Windmill.

Farming, Coins, and Travel

Farming

Farming Plot progress connects to Hearth and Luminaries. Mirella sells seeds in current guide coverage, with Wheat, Carrot, Chili, and Sweetfruit appearing as early crop names.

Coins

Early coins come from exploration: hidden treasure chests, abandoned buildings, ruins, caves, waterfall secrets, quests, and boss progress. Spend them on route comfort before luxury.

Travel safety

Every long route should start at the Hearth: repair tools, pack incense, bring familiar care, and keep one Homebound Scroll ready.

Material Table Seeds

Magic materials

Spirit Dust, Shimmerdust, Shimmering Ink, Azure Feather, Simple Ritual Candle, and Ritual Scroll materials belong together in your notes.

Ore and crafting materials

Copper Ore, Charcoal, Sand, Glass, Fine Wood, Hardwood, Cotton, Thread, and Cloth are the first materials to track by station.

Progression materials

Tear of Al'uun, rare boss drops, Flight Pillar materials, and higher-tier ores should get separate route notes as soon as you encounter them.
